In the hope of setting a new record with the Cavalcade of Bands,
(back-to-back first place wins), The Warwick Marching Band came out strong in 2007 with "Rome, The Gods Of War." With an emphasis on visual effects, it was calculated that after their last year's show, "Batman," the band director felt they would definitely have to kick it up a notch. As each performance proved even more captivating then the last, the band felt they had what it would take to bring home the title yet again. As bands competed from all over including those from Maryland and New Jersey, they just didn't seem to have what it took to be a Cavalcade Champion...that is except for Warwick. With an unprecendented score of 98.15, the highest ever given by the Cavalcade Conference, Warwick had once again bested all the bands. And as if that was not enough, they were also awarded top honors for High Visual Effect, High Music, and High Overall Effect!
