2008's theme for Warwick's Marching Band was
"The Rise of the Samurai Warrior" based upon the
"Bushido," or Samurai Code of Conduct. Their final debut of the season was held at Hershey Park Stadium in November at the 2008 Cavalcade of Bands. Among the competition were 70 bands which competed over the course of two days. When the last band presented their performance and the judges tallied all the scores Warwick was left riveted with a final score of 96.05. Winners of the Liberty Open Division! Furthermore, they took top scores in High Visual, High Music, Best Percussion and Best Auxiliary. This monumental achievement was a historic moment for Warwick as this marked their third straight year in a row as the Cavalcade of Bands Champions for the Liberty Conference!
